It is an easy walk to a nearby country store, restaurants and bar that features live music many weekends during the summer.  The store carries a wonderful selection of groceries including frozen meats & vegetables, plus fine wines, along with ATM, movies rentals, ice, camping, hunting, and fishing supplies.

There is fishing, hiking, and horseback riding close by.  For the more adventuresome, hiking downstream to locate Indian ruins and a cave might be fun. 

You may want to go into Payson to a movie, dinner, or antique shopping, or perhaps, take a daytrip over to Sedona, Tonto Nation Bridge, the fish hatchery etc. etc

Any time is a good time to come to Apple Lane Creekside Cabin at Christopher Creek, Arizona.
