Victorinox Swiss Army Infantry Vintage Chrono
The Infantry Vintage Chrono Mechanic watch is a charming addition to Victorinox Swiss Army’s new watch offerings this year. It is available in three different versions: two with stainless steel case that plays contrast between polished and brushed finishing, and the other with black PVD case.
Sized at 44mm at diameter, the watch comes with a 100-meter water resistance. The dials, which are beautifully designed and balanced, remind me of some Ulysse Nardin watches. The finishing level and the texture quality of these dials really deserve the name ¡°Victorinox Swiss Army¡± stamped on them. Of course, to fit with the case, each version has a slightly different dial. The difference is reflected on the details and color using. And the The “Silver” and “Olive” versions are matched with leather/rubber straps in black or brown. Covering the dial is a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating for high legibility.
Beating inside the watch is an Swiss ETA Valjoux 7750 movement with a date complication. On the dial, the date window is subtly included in the chronograph hours subdial at 6 o¡¯clock position. And via the Display Case back with a mineral crystal, you can have a clear view of the movement.
The price range of the Victorinox Swiss Army Infantry Vintage Chrono Mechanical Watch is between $ 1,700 and $1,900. And personally, it is a good candidate among those entry-level mechanical luxury watches in current market. If you are ready to shift your buying habit from quartz watches to mechanical watches, it is surely a very good choice.

This 56-minute video details that ride thanks to the excellent documentation left by unit comma… |

4th Special Service Brigade $65.59 The 4th Special Service Brigade was created in March 1944 from units of the Royal Marines. Due to the success of the Army Commandos” operations in Norway, the Channel Islands, St. Nazaire, and the Middle East, the Admiralty dissolved the Marine Division in late 1942 and reorganized its amphibious assault infantry in to eight additional Commandos. The Brigade landed in Normandy on June 6 1944 during Operation Overlord and participated in the Battle of the Scheldt and the assault of the Walcheren Islands. On December 6 1944 the Brigade was re named 4th Commando Brigade, removing the hated title Special Service and its association with the German SS. |
